The Wall Street Journal has hired Lizeth Beltran to be an editor on its health and science desk.
She starts next week.
Beltran is associate editor at Crain’s New York Business, where she assists in the planning, assigning, and editing of daily stories for the website and newsletters. She also drives digital initiatives and oversees all aspects of web production.
Prior to joining Crain’s, Lizeth covered breaking news and politics on the video desk at The Daily Beast. She also worked at NBC News, where she assisted in the production of short documentaries and helped launch new verticals.
Beltran holds a master’s degree from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism in business and economics reporting, with a specialization in video journalism.
