WSJ expands Asia, Europe sites

The Wall Street Journal unveiled expanded Web sites dedicated to news about Asia and Europe, according to an Associated Press story.

The story stated, “The expanded Asian and European sites will offer easier navigation, more local multimedia features such as video, regional market data centers, and ‘Weekend Journal’ pages dedicated to lifestyles, among others.

“The WSJ.com Mobile Reader now is available in Europe and Asia, with specific regional tabs. The Reader routes news from WSJ.com, MarketWatch.com, Barrons.com and AllThingsD.com to most Blackberry phones. Asian users can read the news in simplified and traditional Chinese as well.

Neil McIntosh, who joined WSJ.com in January as editor in London, oversees the European site. Tristan Leaver is general manager for The Wall Street Journal Digital Network in the EMEA region.”
