Erin White, the chief of the WSJ.com home page, sent out the following announcement on Tuesday:
I’m delighted to announce that Prabha Natarajan is promoted to head of the wsj.com night crew, succeeding Meredith D’Agnolo.
Prabha joined the night crew as Meredith’s deputy in February after serving as an emerging markets reporter here. She made a remarkably quick and graceful transition into her new role, bringing excellent news judgment, natural leadership skills, and the ability to juggle myriad demands without breaking a sweat.
Prabha joined the Journal in 2008 as a mortgage bond reporter where she tracked the freezing of structured finance during the crisis and its subsequent reopening. She has also helped develop and manage the Deals India page and has worked as a corporate bond reporter.
Prior to joining the Journal, Prabha was an award-winning reporter at the Washington Business Journal, Pacific Business News and the Hindu Business Line. She has an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Madras, India.
Please join me in congratulating her on her new role.
