Eva Dou, a China politics and general news reporter at The Wall Street Journal, is leaving the organization.
She was primarily covering Chinese society, law, religion, and the environment. She was also reporting on diplomacy trade and Chinese domestic policies.
She was associated with the Journal for eight years, initially starting as a Taiwan reporter and then a China tech reporter at the company.
Before that, she was a reporting intern at Thomson Reuters. Additionally, she also worked as a freelance reporter at The Los Angeles Times and as a weekend web producer at the Columbia Daily Tribune.
Dou received a degree in journalism and economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
