Wisconsin paper names new business reporter

Brad Star

Brad Star is the new business reporter at the Appleton Post-Crescent newspaper in Wisconsin.

Star writes, “As The Post-Crescent’s new Buzz reporter, I hope to continue delivering the high caliber of business coverage that you’ve grown accustomed to from The Buzz.

“I’ve worked behind the scenes as a producer for The Post-Crescent and USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin since July 2019. Before that, I received a bachelor’s degree in economics while minoring in journalism at Beloit College. My work has previously been featured in the Colorado Springs Gazette, Salt Lake Tribune and Washington Times. I also wrote content for the Beloit Snappers, a minor-league baseball team that plays in the same league as the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.

“I’m excited to get to know the people behind Fox Cities businesses — the pulse of our community— and to tell the unique stories of Appleton’s business owners and entrepreneurs.”
