Sidney Fussell will be joining Wired covering big tech, surveillance and Silicon Valley.
His new role begins in March.
Before joining Wired, Fussell was a reporter with the Atlantic Media. Before that, he was with Gizmodo Media Group working in the same capacity.
Apart from writing about tech, artificial intelligence and surveillance, Fussell has also covered other topics including video games, race, stereotypes, diversity in the tech industry and entertainment.
In addition, he has also written for other publications which include The Huffington Post, Fusion, The Guardian, Paste and Business Insider.
