Wired reporter Paris Martineau is among the Conde Nast staffers laid off on Wednesday.
On Twitter, Martineau wrote, “If you are looking for a reporter to cover tech, the homesharing industry, or online influence, Im well sourced and was in the middle of reporting out another scoop when I found out.”
Martineau joined Wired in October 2018.
Martineau previously worked at The Outline as a staff writer, covering tech news, social media manipulation, and privacy. Before that she wrote for select all — New York magazine’s tech blog — about internet culture, dank memes, and life online.
She is a New York University graduate in comparative literature.
