Wired magazine has hired Khari Johnson to cover artificial intelligence.
He will start next month
Johnson is currently a senior staff writer at VentureBeat, where he has covered artificial intelligence as well as the intersection of ethics and policy as well as advances in natural language processing, computer vision, and deep learning. He has been at VentureBeat since June 2016.
He previously was a reporter at NewCo, where he focused on stories like smart cities, economic ecosystems, how Millennials are changing the workplace, and the stories of companies driven by purpose and profit.
He also was a local editor at Patch. Johnson is a graduate of San Francisco State University.
