Wired magazine has hired Cecilia D’Anastasio to cover the gaming industry.
D’Anastasio has been at Kotaku since June 2016, most recently as a senior reporter on special projects. She reports investigative features alongside Gizmodo Media’s Special Projects Desk, the company’s investigative unit, with her articles centering on games, virtual worlds, esports and digital labor.
Before that, she was a fact checker and contributor for Vice magazine, Vice.com and Vice’s HBO documentaries.
D’Anastasio is a graduate of Reed College.
