Wired, Bloomberg Businessweek named Ellie finalists

Wired and Bloomberg Businessweek were the only two business-related magazines to receive nominations for the annual American Society of Magazine Editors awards, commonly known as the Ellies.

Wired was named a finalist in the general excellence category, which honors publications covering politics, business, science and technology as well as society and culture.

It was also a finalist for design and photography.

Bloomberg Businessweek was a finalist in the reporting category for “I Hereby Confess Judgment,” by Zachary R. Mider and Zeke Faux, which was in the Nov. 26 issue.

The 2019 winners will be announced during an evening presentation on Thursday, March 14, at Brooklyn Steel, a music venue in Williamsburg, New York.

A full list of the finalists can be found here.
