Kathleen Martens, who has five years of experience as a Winnipeg Sun reporter, has been promoted to city editor, according to a short story in Monday’s newspaper
Martens, who starts her new role this week, has most recently been the Sun’s business reporter while also serving as an acting city editor. She’s also covered the law courts beat and worked as a general assignment reporter.
“I’m delighted to take on this new challenge in my career,” Martens said. “I’m honoured to be a city editor and happy to contribute to the Winnipeg Sun in a new and creative way.”
