Oscar Williams-Grut is joining the Evening Standard as city editor.
In his new role, he will be driving the desk’s digital expansion, focusing on more tech coverage and overseeing the daily section of the paper.
His new role begins in September.
Previously, Williams-Grut has worked at the Evening Standard as an online business journalist and then as a market reporter from 2012 to 2014.
Currently, he is acting co-head at Yahoo Finance U.K. Previously, he was a senior city correspondent. He has also worked as a senior reporter at Business Insider.
He has also worked as a news editor and then as co-editor at The Tab.
Williams-Grut graduated from University of Cambridge.
