The Wichita Business Journal has hired former Wichita Eagle editor Kirk Seminoff as associate editor.
Business Journal editor Bill Roy writes, “Seminoff is a former reporter, sports editor and community engagement editor at the Eagle. He officially joins the WBJ Monday.
“I am very pleased to make this announcement. That’s putting it mildly.
“I worked with Kirk when I was a reporter at the Eagle, and we have been friends since. After 27 years he was caught up in the downsizing at the Eagle, as so many good journalists in the past few years have been. Their loss is our gain.
“Kirk joins the editorial management team at the WBJ, and I know his experience, talent and leadership will make us better.”
