ROI-NJ editor and chief content officer Tom Bergeron, who helped found the New Jersey business news operation last year, talked about its start with East Main Media podcast host Brian Brodeur.
ROI-NJ has a print publication and a website, as well as a social media presence.
“At our heart, we cover business in the world of New Jersey,” said Bergeron. “Everything that happens is business…Everything that we do has a touch of business to it. But we also want to be informative and entertaining. We’ll react to issues as they come up.”
Bergeron said the publication’s goal is to provide content that is of interest to the decision makers within a company.
“We’re giving you the information you need to know to run your business, and we’re giving you information about other businesses as well,” said Bergeron.
