Wharton Seminars for Biz Reporters to hold DC program

wharton-logoThe Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists will hold a free workshop in Washington, D.C. on March 4 with a focus on business and public policy.

The free one-day program will feature Wharton Professor of Healthcare Management and Professor of Insurance and Risk Management Scott Harrington and Professor of Business Economics and Public Policy Kent Smetters on “The Affordable Care Act” and “Financial Regulations” respectively.

The sessions are complimentary but space is limited.

The program will be March 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The registration deadline is Feb. 20.

The seminar will take place at the offices of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, 1111 Pennsylvania Ave.

In recent years, reporters attending the Seminars have come from media outlets such as the BBC, China Central TV, CNN, New York Times, NPR, Politico, Reuters, the Washington Post and Wired

Applications are open to those employed full-time as a print, broadcast, or online business journalist for legitimate media companies.
