Westfair Communications promotes Hall to senior enterprise editor

White Plains, N.Y.-based Westfair Communications, the publisher of regional news outlets, has named Phil Hall as senior enterprise editor.

Hall joined the company in October 2016 as a reporter and has written for its three publications, the Fairfield County Business Journal, a weekly; the Westchester County Business Journal, a weekly; and WAG Magazine, a monthly.

Hall’s articles for Westfair Communications have received awards from the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists and the Connecticut Press Club.

Prior to joining the company, Hall was editor of three real estate-focused media outlets, MortgageOrb.com, Secondary Marketing Executive, and Servicing Management.

Earlier in his career, he was a United Nations reporter for Fairchild Broadcast News. Hall earned a BA in journalism from Pace University in New York City.

Outside of business journalism, Hall is the host of the weekly SoundCloud podcast “The Online Movie Show with Phil Hall” and the author of eight cinema-related books.
