Weisenthal steps back from co-hosting “What’d You Miss?”

Joe Weisenthal

Joe Weisenthal, the co-host of “What’d You Miss?” on Bloomberg Television, is stepping down from the show.

His last day will be Friday. The show’s name is a take off on his Twitter post each morning asking readers what he missed overnight.

He will continue to do on-air hits and interviews for Bloomberg Television from time to time, but plans to focus energy on the “Odd Lots” podcast as well as writing.

Weisenthal is also the executive editor of news for Bloomberg Digital.

He has been at Bloomberg since November 2014 and previously was at Business Insider, where he was executive editor and covered markets, finance and economics.
