Weise joins the climate team at Politico Europe

Zia Weise

Zia Weise, an assistant news editor at Politico Europe, will be joining the climate team as a reporter in August.

Weise has also freelanced for Newsweek, The Atlantic, The Guardian, NPR and others.

She worked various news desk shifts at Express Newspapers.

In 2016, she was a Rory Peck Trust HEFAT grantee and a finalist at the British Journalism Awards; in 2018 and 2019, she was long-listed for the One World Media Awards.

Weise holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and politics from Kingston University.
