Washington Post business editor David Cho and deputy business editor Zachary Goldfarb sent out the following announcement:
We’re happy to announce that Taylor Telford will become our newest business breaking news reporter.
Taylor has distinguished herself with stellar coverage of a wide range of business stories since she joined us last fall after completing an internship in Style. She’s written about furloughed workers selling belongings on Craigslist during the shutdown, the ups and downs of the stock market, pop-up stores, the Marriott hack and many other topics.
Taylor will be part of a growing general assignment team charged with producing urgent and compelling coverage of business news.
She previously interned at the Tampa Bay Times and the Daily Hampshire Gazette in Northampton, Mass.
Originally from Cincinnati, she graduated from Indiana University-Bloomington, where she majored in journalism and Spanish.
