Washington Post hires Fowers as graphics reporter focused on economics

Alyssa Fowers, who joined The Washington Post as a contractor in January, is now becoming a full-time member of the graphics team, focused on the economics beat.

Fowers has also worked as a data manager at BBYO. She was also with Acumen Solutions for more than 3 years, joining as a consultant, and then holding the post of senior consultant.

Additionally, she has also worked as a research assistant at Boundaries of Social Cognition Lab, the Cabeza Lab and Social Sciences Research Institute.

Fowers is a B.A. in psychology from Duke University and is currently pursuing an M.F.A. in communication and media studies from the University of Miami.
