The Washington Post has hired Fortune reporter Danielle Abril to cover tech at work.
She will be at Fortune until the next of next week and start at the Post in July.
She has been with Fortune since 2018 based in San Francisco. Abril previously founded DigiNews DFW and was the former managing editor of D CEO magazine.
Abril previously served as the technology reporter for the Dallas Business Journal. During her three years there, she launched TechFlash, a daily online newsletter that covered technology and startup stories across Dallas-Fort Worth.
Before joining the Business Journal, Abril spent three years at The Dallas Morning News, reporting for metro and neighbors sections of the paper. There, she focused coverage on cities across Collin County.
She began her journalism career in 2008 at Business News Group, which produces niche publications in Dallas-Fort Worth.
