The Washington Business Journal has hired Ana Lucia Murillo to cover money, banking and technology.
Murillo was previously at Money magazine, where she wrote about personal finance, including retirement and taxes.
She previously worked at NPR where she was an associate producer and a production assistant. She also interned at The Daily Beast. Her work has also appeared at Washington City Paper, LatinoUSA.org, Latino Rebels, Bklyner, Vice News, and WFAE.
Murillo holds a bachelor’s degree from Amherst College and a master’s degree from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
