The Washington Business Journal has hired Alex Koma as a reporter to cover development.
He will start on March 21.
Koma has been managing editor of ARLNow for the past year, reporting on government, crime, politics and more in Arlington County, Virginia for a hyperlocal news website. He edited and wrote articles as part of a small team of reporters.
Before that, Koma reported on Prince William County, a suburb of Washington, D.C., for regional newspaper InsideNoVa. He also reported on how state and local governments use and regulate technology for StateScoop.com.
He is a Virginia Tech graduate.
