Nikki Walker has joined the Wall Street Journal as an associate video journalist.
Walker previously interned for The Journal this summer as a video editing intern covering anything from breaking news to inflation and government resignations. She also produced a video explainer on Cardano’s Ada token. She previously interned for NBC4 Los Angeles and Investor’s Business Daily.
Walker is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
While at USC, she worked as the executive producer for Annenberg TV News, USC’s local 30-minute newscast. There she has spearheaded coverage of Kobe Bryant’s memorial, the Saugus High School shooting and three hours of live coverage on Super Tuesday. She also shifted the student-led newsroom to continue remote production amid the Covid-19 pandemic, without missing a scheduled show.
