VTDigger Burlington reporter Quigley set to depart

Aidan Quigley

Aidan Quigley, VTDigger’s Burlington reporter, is leaving the company to join a defense industry newsletter in D.C.

During his time at VTDigger, Quigley covered breaking news, municipal government and politics, crime, courts and other local news in Vermont’s largest city. Before that, he was a business news intern at The Dallas Morning News.

Quigley has also served as editor-in-chief of The Ithacan and was an intern at Newsweek and Politico.

Additionally, he has also held the posts of rapid response team intern and summer intern at The Christian Science Monitor and (Waterbury) Republican-America, respectively. He was also a writer for New England Runner.

Quigley holds a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ithaca College.
