Politico has appointed Heidi Vogt as its new deputy tech and cybersecurity reporter.
Previously, Vogt was working as a freelancer. Before that, she was a reporter for The Wall Street Journal. In addition, she also served as an East Africa correspondent for the Journal.
Vogt has also worked as a fellow at Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard. Prior to that, she was working as a business writer at the Associated Press. Later on, she was promoted to the post of West Africa correspondent and then served as an Afghanistan correspondent for the company.
She was also a natural resource management volunteer at Peace Corps.
Vogt is a B.A. in English from Yale University.
