Vicens swaps Mother Jones for CyberScoop

AJ Vicens

AJ Vicens has joined CyberScoop as a reporter covering cybercrime, nation-state threats and election security.

He was most recently a staff reporter at Mother Jones, reports Politico.

Vicens had been with Mother Jones for over 8 years. Vicens is also an online contributor at 5280 Magazine in Denver, Colorado. He has also worked at WKRP, the PBS affiliate in Denver.

He was also a county reporter at Landmark Community Newspapers in Jefferson County, Colorado.

He has also reported for Evergreen Newspapers in Colorado and the Sterling Journal-Advocate.

Vicens has a B.A. from Metropolitan State University in Denver and a master’s degree from Arizona State University.
