K.J. Yossman has joined Variety as a UK-based international correspondent, based out of London.
In her new role, Yossman will cover production, distribution, exhibition, broadcasting and streaming, as well as representation and diversity in the industry, while reporting to Variety’s London-based international editor Manori Ravindran.
Before joining Variety, Yossman was working freelance for ELLE, Marie Claire, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times and Animation Magazine.
Internationally, her work has appeared in Wired, Tatler, The Times of London, The Telegraph, The Telegraph Magazine, The Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, You Magazine, The Observer Magazine, The Spectator Magazine, The Times of Israel and The South China Morning Post.
She has also contributed online to Rolling Stone, Forbes, MTV, LA Weekly, and Vice, among others.
Yossman has also worked as a reporter at the Daily Mail and was an entertainment and fashion writer at MTV. She was also a legal counsel at Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, and a trainee solicitor at Manches LLP.
Yossman is a B.A. in English language and literature from the University of Oxford.
