Utah paper ends Sunday Money section

The Deseret News paper in Salt Lake City published its last Sunday Money section today.

Greg Kratz, who writes a column for the section, notes, “I also hope you will continue to seek out the excellent reporting and writing of our business team, which you will find often on A1, B1 and on the business pages inside the daily paper’s A section.

“I have enjoyed writing a column for the Money section, in which I have attempted to answer your financial questions. And although the section is ending, business editor Julianne Basinger has agreed to keep giving me space for this column, which will appear on the business pages in the A section every Wednesday starting Jan. 14.

“As such, I would like to invite you to keep sending e-mail or letters about the financial problems that are troubling you. I’ll talk to local experts for answers, which I will share in future columns. I may not get to all of your questions, but as long as they let me write, I’ll answer as many as I can.”
