Hadley Malcolm, a consumer and retail reporter at USA Today, is leaving the paper for a job at The Skimm.
Malcolm will be at USA Today until Sept. 1.
Malcolm has been with the paper since November 2011, primarily focused on food and retail coverage. Her reporting includes food manufacturers getting rid of artificial ingredients, Chipotle’s food safety woes, snacking/baking/flavor trends, and the intersection of food, science and tech.
She pitched and created two original online shows for USA Today, including writing scripts and editing footage. “Let’s Eat!” uncovers the latest food trends changing the way Americans eat while the “Young Money” series covers personal finance for millennials.
Malcolm is a George Washington University graduate.
