Before that, her reporting at the Post triggered an SEC and Justice Department investigation in 2012 with look into how an employee at shareholder advisory firm ISS had been improperly selling shareholders’ votes to corporate boardrooms in exchange for concert tickets and other gifts.
She also worked at Dow Jones for nearly eight years, covering hedge funds and asset managers, personal finance and corporate governance. She is the author of “What Your Lawyer May Not Tell You About Your Family’s Will,” a financial advice book published in 2006.
