Two New Hampshire biz publications combine

The publisher of The Keene Sentinel in New Hampshire has purchased Monadnock Small Business Journal and will combine the quarterly with its monthly Business Monadnock magazine into a single title, The Business Journal, covering Greater Keene, Brattleboro and Peterborough, beginning in July.

A story on the Sentinel’s website states, “Marcia Passos Duffy, editor and founder of Monadnock Small Business Journal, will be the editor of the free publication. Duffy sold another magazine, Monadnock Table, to The Sentinel in 2013.

“‘This is very exciting and provides a wonderful opportunity to grow the publication,’ she said. ‘I’ve enjoyed my relationship with The Sentinel as editor of Monadnock Table and look forward to continuing editing the combined Business Journal.’

“Business Monadnock’s popular Economic Outlook and Trendsetter themes will continue in the newly combined magazine. Features that have helped define Monadnock Small Business Journal, including Talk of the Town, Hints from Helaine, and its business directory will continue, as will a strong focus on small and home-based businesses.”
