Three Dallas Morning News business news staff members are expected to leave the paper when a buyout is concluded on Thursday, according to a Web site for reporters and editors at the paper.
Sherry Young, Kathy Thacker and Ieva Augstums are the three expected to have their buyout offers accepted. Thacker is an assistant business editor who previously covered advertising, health care and employment, while Augstums covers banking and young workers. Young is an editorial assistant in the department.
No word yet on business columnist Scott Burns, who was mentioned last month as being a staff member taking the buyout.
