Two biz reporters leaving amid Sacramento Bee layoffs

Two longtime business reporters are leaving the Sacramento Bee, which announced that it was laying off 15 editorial staffers on Tuesday. Another eight production staffers were also cut.

Mark Glover had been at the paper for 34 years and was laid off. He was a business writer covering automotive industry and numerous other industries and aspects of the Northern California business community.

Glover is also a former member of the board of directors of the California Automobile Museum in Sacramento.

Hudson Sangree, who covered real estate, is also leaving the paper, and his position is being eliminated going forward.

Sangree covered everything from housing to commercial real estate, as well as home sales and consumer issues in housing. He had been at the Bee since July 2005.

The Bee has cut more than 75 percent of its editorial staff in the past decade.
