Two longtime business journalists have joined accounting and consulting firm PwC in New York.
Jennifer Merritt has joined the firm as editor in chief for digital.
Merritt previously was the editor of BBC Capital, the business news website from the British television network. She came from Reuters, where she had been working on the wealth management coverage team. Before that, she was financial markets editor at the Associated Press.
She also had senior editorial positions overseeing personal finance, wealth and markets coverage at the Florida Times-Union, Money and smartmoney.com and wsj.com. She also has been department editor of management education at Business Week.
In addition, Tim Catts has joined the firm.
Catts has been managing editor of Business Insider Intelligence for the past 18 months. Before that, he spent six and a half years as a reporter and as a financial editor at Bloomberg News.
Catts also worked as a reporter at Crain’s New York Business.
