The Triad Business Journal in North Carolina has hired Trajan Warren to cover health care, innovation, banking and higher education.
Managing editor Daniel Finnegan writes, “Trajan Warren, a Burlington native who spent 10 weeks this summer with Triad Business Journal as an intern, began working full-time with the news organization on Monday. He will be focused on beats previously covered by reporter John Joyce, who left Triad Business Journal in October to pursue other interests.
“Warren, 22, focused during his internship on covering retail, restaurants and entertainment, including the impact the Covid-19 pandemic has had on those sectors. He will now turn his attention to how the local health care and higher education sectors continue to evolve, along with innovations emerging out of those sectors that hold the potential for commercialization. Warren will also report on banking and finance, both in terms of competition within that sector and its role in connecting businesses with much-needed capital.
