Nina Trentmann has been promoted to CFO Journal bureau chief at The Wall Street Journal.
Trentmann joined the Journal in London in September 2016 as a news editor for CFO Journal and relocated to the New York office in July 2019.
Prior to her time at CFO Journal, Trentmann worked as a U.K.-based business and finance correspondent for German media group Welt. Before that, she reported for Welt and other German business publications out of Shanghai.
Trentmann earned a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Fudan University in Shanghai. She also holds a magister artium from Bonn University in Germany. She began her journalism career freelancing for the local newspaper in her hometown Osnabrück, Lower Saxony.
