Thomas Brewster has been promoted to associate editor, cybersecurity, at Forbes.
Based in London, England, Brewster has worked as a security, surveillance and privacy reporter for the news outlet.
In making the announcement, Forbes Europe editor Alex Wood praised Brewster for breaking numerous exclusive stories, nurturing a top group of contributors and showed leadership in the London team by launching his FOIA Fridays initiative, growing Forbes’s investigative output.
Brewster has been with Forbes for almost five years. Prior to that, he worked as a freelance journalist and writer covering business, technology and culture.
He has an honors Bachelor of Arts in English literature from the University of Sheffield.
