Six business journalists, including three new members, were elected to the Society of American Business Editors and Writers board of directors.
The three incumbents re-elected to three-year terms are James Madore of Newsday, Xana Antunes of Quartz and Sapna Maheshwari of BuzzFeed.
The three new board members also elected to three-year terms are are Amy Gleason of S&P Global Market Intelligence, Caleb Silver of Investopedia and Patrick Sanders of U.S. News & World Report.
The three board members who did not seek re-election were Gary Silverman of the Financial Times, New York Times contributing writer Diana Henriques, and independent journalist Chris Peacock, formerly with CNNMoney.com
Results of the election were announced at the Best in Business dinner and ceremony at SABEW’s annual conference in Washington.
