TheStreet hires two more senior editors, London bureau chief

TheStreet.com, which is building its editorial staff under new editor Tara Murphy and CEO David Callaway, has hired two more senior editors and a London bureau chief in recent weeks.

Anne Stanley, former managing editor of MarketWatch.com, has been hired as a senior editor in San Francisco.

She spent 17 years at MarketWatch, becoming ME for personal finance and special projects in 2011 under Callaway. Before that, she was business editor and assistant city editor at the Marin Independent Journal.

Jerry Kronenberg has also been hired as a senior editor.

Previously, Kronenberg served as vice president and editor-in-chief of Fidelity Investment’s MyFidelity.com and senior supervising producer at CNNfn. He also served as Boston Herald’s real estate and automotive editor.

And Martin Baccardax has been hired as London bureau chief. He previously was deputy managing editor of Europe for Market News International. He has worked at CNBC Europe and Dow Jones Newswires in the past.

In August, TheStreet also hired John Pickering as a senior editor. Pickering had previously worked for Reuters and Bloomberg News.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
