The Sun promotes Evans to post of head of consumer coverage

Tara Evans

Tara Evans has been promoted to the post of head of consumer, working across print and online, to lead the Consumer hub at The Sun.

Previously, she was a digital consumer editor at The Sun, breaking consumer, personal finance and business news.

She has also worked as a freelance senior personal finance reporter at The Telegraph.

Her work has also appeared in The Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, ThisisMoney.co.uk, Mail Online, Essentials Magazine, Woman’s Own, Goodtoknow.co.uk, City A.M., Telegraph Money, TheGuardian.com, Mirror.co.uk, Stuff Magazine, The Grocer, Broadly and Moneywise Magazine.

She was also a features desk leader at MoneySavingExpert.com. She has also served as a money editor and then as an acting editor, at goodtoknow.co.uk, at Time Inc.

She was also a consumer and personal finance journalist for This is Money and the Money channel on Mail Online.

Evans has a B.A. in multi-media journalism from Bournemouth University.
