The Sun hires Mead as deputy consumer editor

Holly Mead

The Sun in London has named Holly Mead deputy consumer editor.

She joins from Morningstar.co.uk, where she was a senior editor, and most recently served as an editorial manager for EMEA.

She has also freelanced, specializing in investments and personal finance. She was also a Money Mail reporter and investment/markets correspondent at the Daily Mail. She was also a senior staff writer at Money Observer.

Mead also covered investments and finance for IFAs at Money Management, FT Group.

Mead has a B.A. in multimedia journalism from Bournemouth University.
