Real estate publication The Real Deal has hired Rob Urban as director of editorial development.
He started on Monday.
Urban had previously been at Bloomberg News for 28 years, including stints in Moscow and Prague as well as New York. He most recently was a senior editor and reporter on the finance and real estate team. He was also the global real estate team leader.
Urban has written and edited stories and managed reporters in all aspects of finance, investing, real estate and cryptocurrencies and blockchain.
Before Bloomberg, Urban spent four years at The Charlotte Observer.
