The Real Deal hires Jones as data reporter

Orion Jones

Orion Jones has joined The Real Deal as a data reporter covering New York City’s commercial and residential real estate market.

Previosuly, Jones was with Big Think which he joined as associate editor. Later on, he was promoted to the post of managing editor at the company. After leaving Big Think, Jones was working as a business journalist at Columbia University.

In addition, he has also served as a teaching fellow at The Catholic University of America and as a reporter at El Punt Avui | Catalonia Today.

Jones is a B.A. in international/global studies from University of Iowa. He also holds a master’s degree in business and economics from Columbia University.
