Monica Melton, who covered innovation at Forbes, has been hired as managing editor of The Plug.
The Plug covers Black tech news.

Melton has been at Forbes since January 2019, covering innovation, technology, and venture capital.. She has also covered politics at Politico and entertainment for Time Out New York
She is an alumna of the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism and the University of Washington
