Tech news site The Markup has hired CNET’s Alfred Ng to cover privacy.
Ng is a senior reporter for CNET News. He was raised in Brooklyn and previously worked on the New York Daily News’s social media and breaking news teams.
He joined CNET in September 2016. He previously worked as the associate engagement editor at the New York Daily News, where he juggled running the paper’s social accounts with breaking local news stories.
Ng is a 2015 graduate of Syracuse University, where he worked on the student newspaper, The Daily Orange.
