Bloomberg Technology has hired Priya Anand to cover startups and venture capital for the company amid the worst economic downturn witnessed by the Silicon Valley.
Currently, Anand serves as a reporter at The Information covering Amazon and e-commerce.
Previously, she was with BuzzFeed working as a transportation reporter. Prior to joining BuzzFeed, Anand was covering cybersecurity for MarketWatch. She also worked at Bloomberg for four months covering municipal bonds.
In addition, she has served as an intern at Politico and held the posts of metro news editor and editor-in-chief at The GW Hatchet. Apart from Politico, Anand has also interned at the Houston Chronicle, New York Daily News and Street Sense.
Anand graduated from the George Washington University.
