Ross Matican, a reporter at tech news site The Information, is leaving for a marketing job.
Matican is joining Carta Inc. as its first-ever corporate affairs research analyst.
He joined The Information in June 2020 covering tech and markets.
Matican was previously a reporting intern for The Information in San Francisco. He recently graduated from Carleton College and has served two terms as editor-in-chief of the student newspaper The Carletonian. He has been recognized by the Associated Collegiate Press for his news coverage.
Matican has held internships at The Capitol Forum, an antitrust and consumer protection news outlet in Washington; at PR and marketing analytics firm RF|Binder in New York; and on Yelp’s public policy team.
