Thomas Murray has joined The Independent as senior U.S. culture reporter, based in Los Angeles. He comes from Insider, where he worked for over 5 years, most recently as an entertainment editor.
He has also served as an associate social media editor, lifestyle reporter, associate lifestyle editor, and associate entertainment editor at the company. He joined Insider in 2016 as a social and syndication fellow, managing the Facebook page and writing lifestyle and news copy.
He has also written and edited for The Tab and was a junior news reporter at South West News Service.
Murray graduated from the University of Nottingham.
