The Guardian has hired reporter Emily Holden to cover climate and energy news.
She has been reporting on energy and climate change at Politico since July 2017. Her last day at Politico is Wednesday.
She previously covered the White House and EPA’s Clean Power Plan for E&E News from November 2014 to July 2017.
Holden has written for CQ Roll Call as an energy and environment reporter, the Arizona Republic, the Houston Chronicle and The Advocate, in her hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
She is a graduate of Louisiana State University.
